What a nice collection of ideas! Doors can be a jewel for the house, a nice detail of the building expressing the ‘soul’ of the residents.
I especially liked the slide doors, something which is (in my opinion) a must in houses with a big porch or balcony with a good view. It simply makes every good-weather-day all the more fun, even if the house is not situated close to nature. It’s also particularly practical for house owners who like hosting parties of small gatherings, where you can just open the doors and nearly double the size of your living room if there’s a balcony, alternatively if there’s a porch or garden one can turn the gathering into a indoor-outdoor party, where kids can play outside but in sight.
Great ideas! Our walls are all wooden, a dark brown color. Our front door is painted to look like a barn door and we receive compliments on it all the time! It gives our home that nice “homely” feeling.
I specifically like the steel and glass room divider. It just makes the house look more spacious, modern, and minimalist. There’s a lot of beauty in its simplicity. It’s also quite versatile. You can put some curtain on special days when you want to entertain guests in one area of the house. I like that since it’s a sliding divider, you can easily pull it to one side of the room and back.
